G-rated films
We read an article about G-rated animated films and how the ratings should be changed. The MPAA is rating these animated films G for general meaning that any age can watch it, but the problem is that the content is getting worse and worse. I think that this situation is being blown out of proportion. the articl says that this is a big problem because young children are watching these "bad"movies but i think that the content of the movies matches well with our society today. Our society is also the reason for this change in G rated movies. Our culture has different things in it todaty than 20 years ago and allows much more violent and inapropraite things into it. i Think that this is not bad because parents and eveyone else accept it. I think that every rating system is flawed, including the MPAA. it ids flawed because there is a made up board that vote every time after watching the movie, and thier reaction determines the rating. It could be fixed somehow, but even then people would say it can be fixed.

I read your article and i agree with you. The rated G movies really are not that bad. I think if the were just to make guidelines it would solve the problem or stricter guidelines. For all i care they could make all the movies rated R because were 17. But you are right about the producers wanting it to be lower so more people could watch it. Sometimes i don't go to movies or show interest in them if there rated G. That might just be me though.
